The HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 gives you a very decent ultraportable PC and it also gives you some additional features such as the beats audio and the construction is very well made say you can take this anywhere and you do not have to worry about it breaking.
Design
The most obvious feature with the HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 PC in terms of its design is the fold back hinge and the fact that you can also use this system as a traditional laptop. Once you are finished using it is a laptop if you want to turn it into a more portable counterpart then you can flip the screen right back and it will turn into a tablet and this makes it easier to carry around and is probably the main selling point of this ultraportable PC.
This concept has been going since the original Lenovo Yoga model launched alongside Windows 8 but since then there have been many inventive hybrid designs that have melded laptops and the tablet together. This design with the fliptop lid seems to have won the design wars! You will find that the design is not intrusive and it actually complements the laptop design as well so you should have no problems using it.

You will find however that the HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 PC is slightly larger and heavier than other 11 inch portable PCs. Although it does have a gadget feel to it, you will find that he is slightly difficult to hold with one hand in tablet mode.
For a comparison you will find that the x360 weighs 3.3 pounds compared to the MacBook Air which only weighs 2.4 pounds.
The thing to remember is that as a budget ultraportable laptop this works out really well and will give you a full-size keyboard and a large, wide touchpad.
As with most HP laptops you will find that the function keys are reversed meaning that you can use them to adjust the brightness and also the volume without having to hold down the function key.
The touchpad that you will use when it is in tablet mode is very good and he gives you a larger touch surface without separate left and right mouse buttons.

The anything to consider is that the screen does not get especially bright and it will give you quite a glossy overlay.One of the main features of the HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 PC is that you will get beats audio but this probably will not make it to future versions of the x360 two to the fact that Apple have recently purchased the audio company.

With the beats feature you will get some extra software installed to allow you to make tweaks for deeper sound, and you will also be able to mess around with the EQ presets to get more bass out of the computer.
You will get loads of connection ports with the HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 PC and these include a HDMI out, a SD card slot and a full ethernet jack. If you need a small laptop with the ability to easily connect to a wired Internet setup then this is definitely the route that you want to go down as there are plenty of connections to do so.
The HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 PC will start out as a $399 base model or you can go for the $474 upgrade which has the same CPU which is a 2.16 GHz Intel Pentium N3530.
And you will be able to get the Intel core i-series CPU for a few hundred dollars more, which will speed things up a little bit more.
Performance
You will not end up getting the same sort of performance as $1000 PC which is a desktop and any ultraportable PC you have will end up feeling sluggish at times in comparison especially when you are working with the traditional Windows desktop view and you are starting menus up.

The tile-based Windows 8 interfaces really fast and responsive and this works really well for a PC of this type as it is fast and easy to use.
You will also find that the HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 PC is quite fast and the extra RAM which is 8 GB really helps here and then if you go for the enhanced processor you can squeeze out a bit more speed.
Battery Life
In terms of battery life you would think it would be really good with the low-power CPU but you will find it is above average but not outstanding. You will get four hours 47 minutes and that was using a test where we were playing a video. As a comparison if you look at theYoga 2 this managed to run at five hours and 35 minutes.
Conclusion
The HP Pavilion 11-n010dx x360 PC is an awesome ultraportable PC and if you are going for the best sound and you also want something that can be maneuvered around easily wherever you want to go and also have lots of connections then this is definitely well worth looking at.
However, if you are going for the quality of the display and you also want something with a really long battery life this may not be the choice for you. Either way, for the price and as this is aimed at the budget audience this is definitely well worth a look if you want plenty of bang for your buck and a brilliant ultraportable PC!
